Founder & President

Rick Boyd is the Founder and President of Bolt Consulting Group (BoltCG), where he helps companies turn strategy into execution and execution into powerful results.

A former SVP and Chief Risk Officer with 23+ years of experience, Rick has led complex engineering and operations organizations, managed P&Ls exceeding $400 million, and delivered high-stakes energy infrastructure programs. He brings the rare combination of technical depth, operational discipline, and executive leadership required to drive performance at scale.

Rick holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
